An interview with designer Thomas Bossée

Designer Thomas Bossée was born in 1985 and studied journalism for three years. After coming to the conclusion that writing was not as exciting as expected, he studied another two years to become a desktop publisher. During his education, Thomas discovered his passion for logo design, branding and typography. In 2008 he established his personal identity ‘Made By Thomas’, mainly focusing on working as a global freelance identity designer. The importance of correct use of trademark symbols

Intellectual Property (or simply IP) is the general name for the field of law which deals with protection for trademarks, patents and copyrights – all of which legal ‘tools’ developed for and used by companies in order to be equipped to maintain the exclusivity of their advertising properties and/or inventions and to rightfully object to competitors infringing on these rights. While all of these separate IP rights have their own corresponding symbols, I will only discuss those related to trademarks in this contribution. Product designer Nathalie studied Interior Architecture at the school of La Cambre in Brussels and graduated in 2001. For the entrance examination, she had to make a candlestick for the first time. That was it, she was hooked. The fifth and final year in La Cambre allows you to choose very freely your final study project; she made her first lamps as a product designer. An interview with Chris Vermiglio

Chris Vermiglio, always loved drawing ever since he was a child… Started loving graphic design when he was 15. At this age, he was mixing in «underground acid techno parties» under the DJ name Pota303. Completely amazed by the record-covers’ artwork his passion for design was born. I started making some flyers for parties and some artworks for mix tapes. Then I studied graphic design in Saint-Luc Liège….  After my study, I immediately started working for an Advertising agency and I did this during 1 year.
