Let’s Talk Design (since 2013) is a series of evenings with speakers from the creative sector talking about their work. At our events, we let established creatives talk about their work next to young & upcoming talent. Our events are all about getting inspired and connect with fellow creatives in an open low-key environment.

Eva is a 3D Artist and Animation Director from The Netherlands. She combines playful, graphic CGI style with unique design sensibility to create charming, joyful worlds.
Across a multitude of media, her signature elements and characters appear in digital art, sculptures, murals, and apparel.

HIER is a design studio, a production workshop and a space to meet, based in Brussels.
We develop spaces and objects at the intersection of architecture, retail, and scenography. HIER is our name; tangible branding is our field of play. What we design, we build, here, locally.
Our work translates ideas into physical experiences: display, signage, installations, and spatial environments shaped through material and use.
Everything we create considers how it will be used, how it will evolve, and how it can last. We think in terms of lifecycle, not just delivery. We avoid waste, redundancy, and obsolescence. What can be reused is reused. When existing solutions make sense, we work with them. When needed, we design and fabricate custom pieces. Our team brings together an architect, product and industrial designers, a textile wizard, a photographer and a project manager.
Oilinwater is an independent graphic design studio specializing in branding, from print and digital to graphic implementation of graphics in physical spaces. Based in the heart of Brussels, it draws on 20 years of experience across projects spanning a wide range of expertise, from corporate to cultural. Oilinwater is made up of a core team of regular collaborators and interns from Belgium and across Europe. They believe the graphic solution lies somewhere in the project’s DNA — we see our craft as a practice situated between science and art.

Paula Hricovini, aka Paulynka, of Slovak descent, is a freelance art director, illustrator, and 2D animator based in Charleroi, Belgium. She draws on her environment as an infinite source of inspiration, bringing to life giant characters and the tiniest creatures on their journeys. Always seeking to tell meaningful stories through engaging, colorful & bold imagery that people can connect to.

Tickets for Let’s Talk Design are 30 Euro (Excl. Fee & Tax), and students pay half the price.
Presentations start at 19.30 sharp. All lectures are in English.
